One of the many things I miss in Austria is baseball, specifically the dodgers because I bleed dodger blue. No really - I do. It's happened. I'll try and document it next time.
Joke's aside, I did have an awesome opportunity this week. I got to check out the Dodgers stadium club. If your not familiar I suggest you do yourself a favor and do a Google search for the place. You should get a bunch of cool search results. But I think I'll just give you the cliff notes. Basically, it's a buffet/bar on the suite level for VIP's, season ticket holders, and the like. We were lucky enough to get hooked up with reservations from a season ticket holder, a season ticket holder who's family has been ticket holders since 1962. Some traditions at Dodger stadium just cant be bought and are rather grandfathered in - quite literally. You just can't beat that. Our reservations were for 5:30, so we got to watch the team practice until game time.

Forgot this guy's name, but he's been working here since the stadium opened! If I remember right he's in his late 80's! |
|
We lost, but it's an experience I'll never forget. |
